The developers behind PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), Bluehole are currently developing the final build for the 1.0 release on PC and the launch into the Xbox One Game Preview program. It will be done through three phases of testing with a period of two to four weeks.
The three phases of PUBG testing before release as below:
1st phase: Focus on testing vaulting & climbing
2nd phase: More testing of vaulting & climbing, test other new content, and features
3rd phase: All new content and features including the desert map
The implementation of vaulting & climbing is the dev’s primary focus at the moment and it is extremely complex due to the large number of unique objects in the game players should be able to jump or mount. That is the reason as to why it take Bluehole two to four weeks time to do the three phase testing.
It’s still unclear when will Bluehole will be ready to launch the game after test. However, the timeline points of launch will most likely be on late November or first week of December.
